Fees and Rebates
What is our Fee
The fee for a standard 50 minute individual session is $250. Our fees are set in line with the current Australian Association of Psychologists inc (AAPi) guidelines.
Cancellations
When you make an appointment, you make a commitment to undergo therapy and attend the scheduled session. If you become ill or need to reschedule your appointment, please give 24 hours' notice. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice or if you fail to attend your appointment. Medicare Rebates do not apply to cancellation fees.
Medicare Rebates, Bulk Billing and Gap Charges
You may be eligible for a rebate under the 'Better Access To Mental Health Care' scheme. This makes seeing a psychologist more affordable and you are required to pay the gap fee only. To check your eligibility for this, you must see your GP or Psychiatrist. Your Doctor will work with you to create a Mental Health Care plan. The Plan enables you to access 10 sessions per calendar year. You will be required to bring your referral letter to the first session to get the rebate.
Workers Compensation and CTP
Services provided in relation to your claim will be billed directly to your insurance agent. Pre-approval of services by your insurer may be required prior to commencing treatment.
Private Health Funds
Many health funds will allow you to claim a rebate for psychological services. Please check with your health fund regarding the amount and the limits for psychological treatment.
Payments
Payment can be made via cash or credit card at the time of your appointment.
